Those are the famous words of Chicago White Sox manager, Ozzie Guillen, on Chicago-Sun Times columnist Jay Mariotti in July 2006.

The world would be a dull place without the free flying words of Guillen in the baseball world. He is the Latin version of Lou Piniella, unafraid to speak his mind.

Although the White Sox have not a very good year on the field, ESPN is reporting that Guillen has received an extension through the 2012 season.
I love the move White Sox, love the move. If the Angels did not have Mike Scioscia I would suggest to Arte Moreno to pick up Ozzie Guillen. The dude shows fire, and if you have the right players, they will respond to that fire.

In other baseball news, the Red Sox were once down 8-1 to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, but decided to play like the team with the best record in baseball and come back to a 16-10 win. Tim Wakefield gave up seven runs on 10 hits in three innings before being pulled. That is just like MLB '07 on PS2; he either gets rocked or you can't get a hit on the guy.

Too bad, because the Yankees won in Toronto to keep the AL East gap at five games.
Poor ESPN, they will have to wait another day until they can turn all their programming to full Red Sox-Yankees coverage.
