Football News - His Time Is Coming

Well Cleveland Browns fans, your beloved boy pictured to the right is closer to getting the starting job. The Browns traded week one starter, Charlie Frye, to the Seattle Seahawks today. Frye did not last the first half in the Browns loss to the Steelers, putting up an admirable QB rating of 10.0.

I still think that it will be a couple weeks before they throw Quinn into the starting job, although starting him in week three versus Oakland could not hurt. After all, Jon Kitna threw three touchdowns and was only sacked twice against the Raiders in week one. (I kid, Kitna is a solid QB)

But it is not like the Browns have many options, especially after watching Derek Anderson, Frye's replacement on Sunday, stink it up as well.

I hope they start Quinn on the road and see plenty of the posted picture on poster boards in the stands.

In other news, JaMarcus Russell, is now a rich man.
So it looks like I will see Russell play in week 15 up in Oakland when they take on the Indianapolis Colts. There is no way they keep playing Josh McCown up until then, or that Daunte Culpepper does not get hurt by that time. Hurry up JaMarcus, I want to have a reason to watch the Raiders!
